Republican senators are looking to reduce safeguards that already exist in the purchasing and owning of firearms.

 

Senate Bill 41/SL 2023-8:Guarantee 2nd Amendment Freedom and protections was filed on January 30th, 2023. This bill was designed to not only increase the prevalence of guns on school property (deadass), but also repeal pistol purchase permits, a minimal firewall slowing the sale of handguns.
